Scallywaggs Gymnastics was opened in 1995 by Kit & Rod Poole.

Kit Poole

Kit is a former Coaching and Development Director for the NSW Gymnastics Association, Kit holds a Bachelor of Physical Education and Education, a level 2 Women's Gymnastics and Kindergym Leaders accreditation. Kit is an experienced course presenter at State, National and International level. In 1999, 2003, 2005 and 2006 Kit was awarded the National Kindergym Leaders Award. She has also been awarded the Australian Sports Medal and the NSW Kindergym Leaders Award in 2003, 2005 and 2006.

Rod Poole

Rod is the business manager for the gym. He is in charge of all aspects involved in the running of the gym. He is also a level 1 Gymnastics Instructor and the creator and builder of much of the equipment at Scallywaggs
